CARAVAN 2015/16 -The Bridge Opening in New York City

Sponsored by SODIC, The Bridge exhibition opened on January 19th 2016, with a VIP reception in New York City at the historic St. Paul’s Chapel at Ground Zero. Due to its unique role since 9/11 as a place of reconciliation, it is a fitting host for The Bridge exhibition to debut in North America. Ambassador Ahmed Farouk, the Consul General of Egypt in New York, hosted the event which was attended by diplomats, religious dignitaries, art patrons and enthusiasts.  Other special guests included actor Tony Lo Bianco and participating artists Manal Deeb, Siona Benjamin, Houria Niati were in attendance, along with co-curator and participating artist, Dr. Reda Abdel Rahman.
